Mom

January 3, 1932 - March 16, 2010

God bless you, Mom.

You are the most wonderful, loving person I could ever hope to know.

Leaving us so suddenly with no warning makes the hurt so much deeper.

I will love you forever, as will all who had the pleasure to have known you.

I will always cherish having the honor and the privilege to call you "Mom."

Oh man. Very sorry. Words will never express but I want you to know that you're in my thoughts.

Lord, grant that I may seek rather to comfort
than to be comforted;
to understand, than to be understood;
to love, than to be loved.
For it is by self-forgetting that one finds.
It is by forgiving that one is forgiven.
It is by dying that one awakens to eternal life.
Amen.

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there
I do not sleep
I am a thousand winds that blow
I am the diamond glints on snow
I am the sunlight on ripened grain
I am the gentle Autumn rain
When you waken in the morning’s hush
I am the swift uplifting rush of quiet birds in circled flight
I am the soft stars that shine at night
Do not stand at my grave and cry
I am not there
I did not die.
