Blogger News: August 14, 2005

I've been a little busy the last several days, but luckily you've all had Stephen Johnson working hard here to keep you informed and up to date on all the latest big stories. Thanks, Stephen! Not enough time to do real justice to a full 'Round the 'Sphere take this week, so let's just take a quick look at the latest news from the blogosphere itself...

Congratulations to Dr. Rusty Shackleford, Howie and the rest of the gang at The Jawa Report for going over the 2 million visitor mark this past week! Wow!

The Anchoress recently celebrated her 1 year "Blogiversary"! Congratulations!

Ace of Spades has added some new blogging help at his HQ.

Power Line has created a new service called Power Line News.

Update your blogroll: Decision '08 has a new homepage.

Following up on his terrific series of regional political race updates from last weekened, Alexander K. McClure at PoliPundit has finished examining the rest of the nation:

The Midwest
The Great Plains
The Mountain West
The Pacific Coast

Oh, one last thing...

Please permit me to gloat a bit about this post getting a write up in James Taranto's Best of the Web Today at WSJ.com's OpinionJournal this past Wednesday! Thanks, Mr. Taranto, I am truly honored!

UPDATE:

There is a new blog that was created exclusively to keep track of the Able Danger story called Able DangerOUS. It looks pretty good for anyone who might be interested.

ADDENDUM TO ABOVE: Shortly after I posted this link, the blogger in question put up an angry screed with some very foul language. One should click with that in mind if one is still inclined to do so.

More Moonbat rage... Check out the e-mail that some depraved idiot sent to Erick at Red State. And they wonder why their side keeps losing???
