As the sun sets on our first season of weekly caption contests, and the winners prepare to take their well-deserved bows just days from now, I remind everyone that it is now, once again, time to dream that eternal dream that comes with each new season... for it is anyone's game again this time around, beginning right here and now! The scorekeeping slate will be wiped clean, and everyone will have an equal chance at the ultimate glory.
Well, okay, so we have our own versions of the Yankees and the Celtics of old hanging out around here, who look like the unbeatable foes in the path of everyone else. Learn from them. Observe their techniques. Then, steal the spotlight from them whenever you can. After all... you never know what you can accomplish, until you truly try! Good luck to one and all who choose to vy for the title of High Exalted Ruler of the CapHOGs, as well as all of those who play just for the fun of it! Now, let the games begin anew...
